  1. Well, looks like I'm in! To be honest, I've been doing a pretty thorough stitching room clean out....this means I have several projects "kitted" and ready to go! I had already put the names in hats, small, medium and large projects this past fall.i will post a list of my hopefuls shortly. My focus now is completing WIP : FAMILY , BISCORNU , WINTER WONDERLAND , ROSETTA , NEW YEARS , AND OF COURSE HAED AT THE NORTH POLE. looking forward to hearing or seeing everyone's list. Happy holidays! Squishy hugs...janice

  12. Day 4, another snowman! Lizzie Kate's All Dressed up from the 6 Snow belles series has been chosen for me. I'm doing it on 28 ct linen over 1, using Dinky Dies silk threads. I plan on doing all 6 together same as on the back of the fabric. I'm not ambitious enough to do them as one project, so I'll start the others some time this month.

We are at a hockey tournament this weekend, so my trusty helper has already selected tomorrow's project: Dutch Treats's Seahorse table topper.

  18. Hello to all...well ,13 days into this challenge and my thumb is getting to feel a bit sensitive! I have starts for everyday , and managed to do a start on the run while travelling.got a good finger jab as the road was a wee bit bumpy. Sooo...started are a Fire Wing design called Eclipse, done on ptp Solar evenweave, Recipe for a Snowman by Pine Mountain Designs which is a delightful pillow I "adopted" in Branson...started and finished JBW Trees in a Tree from the Christmas Tree Collection I...Barbara Ana's Hallowscornu that I got from Toni in Berlin Ohio, sooo cute on purple overdyeds Aida....and today's start is a design out of the Just Cross Stitch Halloween from 2012 by Allessandra Berretta called Halloween Banner Sampler, which I am using a MCG talberunner in ivory (it is prefinished) Feeling a little out of sorts, so I am going to do some spa-hopping this week, and have joined up with the " annual bird count folks" to do some catalougeing and get some photos. Stitch on friends!

  19. Been a couple of days since I last reported in... busy stitching away!!! Yup I know what you mean about the finger jabs while in the car - I swear hubby finds ALL the potholes!
Day 10 started Lizzie Kate's 6 Snow Bells Baby it's cold outside.
Day 11, Mill Hill Buttons & Beads Winter Series Believe (MH14-1304).
Day 12, started Friends by Babi's Treasures with Nina's Threads - Damson Dream on 36 ct white linen (1 over 2). Finished it this morning.
My assistant has an evil laugh... and I heard it as he handed me today's project (day 13)- my other large project - it a Bucilla kit Planetarius, adapted from Myles Pinkney's work. First had to separate out the floss - they give it in 1yard pieces - 62 colours all mixed together... had fun trying to match it to the supplied floss organizer... got colours not listed on organizer, missing colours from organizer... tried matching to my DMC as a way to make sure they were correct - colours different. Found a colour I had on hand so I could at least start it. If it wasn't for the fact that I like the pattern I'd HATE this kit!

So my count is now 13 started, 2 completed (stitched but not "completed"), and 11 UFOs!
